Chainsaw Training Interactive CDs

Home > Training resources > Chainsaw Training Interactive CDs

Workspace Training has developed two interactive CDs for chainsaw operators and trainers, called ‘Chainsaw basics’ and ‘Tree falling with a chainsaw’.

Both presentations feature photos, movie clips, animated graphics, on-screen text, and a voice-over narration. Interactive learning exercises and assessment instruments are also included.

The resources are designed for all workers in the industry, but are particularly suitable for learners with poor literacy skills.

Each package comes with a hard-copy Trainer and Assessor Guide, and three different versions of the presentation: Powerpoint slideshow version, Flash version, and Powerpoint customisable version. The customisable version allows trainers to modify all elements of the presentation, including inserting their own site-specific photos and movie clips, and recording their own voice-over.
