Other interactive CDs

Workspace Training has developed a wide range of interactive CDs for training or reference purposes. In addition to the resources listed on other pages in this Training resources section, the following CDs can be ordered direct from us, charged at a cost-recovery price.

The copyright for each of these resources is owned by the Australian Government. In general, the material is available for everyone to use and customise freely for training purposes. The main condition of use is that the resources must not be resold for profit, and that any customisation becomes part of the original copyright ownership.

Interactive CDs developed under the WELL program

These resources are produced on a Powerpoint platform, and feature on-screen text, still photos, movie clips, animated graphics and a voice-over narration. Each section contains interactive learning exercises.

Two CDs are provided in each package – one 'slideshow' version and one 'customisable' version, which enables trainers to customise all elements, including inserting their own site-specific photos and movie clips. Each package also contains a Trainer and Assessor Guide and a set of assessment instruments relevant to the units of competency covered in the resource.

Both of the above resources have been 'noted' by the National Quality Council as quality assured Training Package support materials.
