Powerline vegetation control

Vegetation control around overhead powerlines is a highly regulated activity. All network operators have strict training requirements for workers engaged in tree trimming around powerlines, and most are now specifying competency accreditations from the Certificate II in ESI (Powerline vegetation control).

We provide training in the full qualification and individual competencies from the Cert II ESI, as well as units from the Certificate II in Horticulture (AHC20410) and Certificate III in Horticulture (AHC30710).

We also offer training in the Close Approach Vegetation Control (CAVC) accreditation. This course has now been approved by the NSW Network Operators, and is made available to experienced HV aerial tree trimmers.
