Print-based learner guides
The print-based learner guides listed below were funded by the NSW Department of Education and Training, through a resource development project managed by ForestWorks (the Industry Skills Council for the Forest and Forest Products Industry).
They are available for purchase from the NSW Department of Education and Training website: Skills Online.
These learner guides relate to the following competencies from the Forest and Forest Products Industry Training Package (FPI05):
- FPICOR2201A: Work effectively in the forest and forest products industry
- FPICOR3202A: Conduct quality and product care procedures
- FPICOR3203A: Evaluate fire potential and prevention
- FPICOR3204A: Visually assess materials
- FPICOR4204A: Monitor and review forestry operations (work operations)
- FPICOT3247A: Select timber for forestry operations (wood technology basics)
All of the above resources have been 'noted' by the National Quality Council as quality assured Training Package support materials.
