Interactive CDs through the WELL Program

WELL resource

The following interactive CDs were developed with funding from the Department of Employment Education and Workplace Relations through the Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Program.

These resources are produced on a Powerpoint platform, and feature on-screen text, still photos, movie clips, animated graphics and a voice-over narration. Each section contains interactive learning exercises.

Two CDs are provided in each package - one 'slideshow' version and one 'customisable' version, which enables trainers to customise all elements, including interting their own site-specific photos and movie clips.

Each package also contains a Trainer and Assessor Guide and a set of assessment instruments relevant to the units of competency covered in the resource.

Communicating and working with others: aligned to the unit of competency:
FPICOR2202A: Communicate and interact effectively in the workplace

Caring for the environment: aligned to the unit of competency:

Mobile phone 'Timber flooring grading rules' program

Mobile phone

Workspace Training has developed a mobile phone grading rules program, with the assistance of funding from Australian Flexible Learning Framework through its NSW E-learning Innovations program.

This pilot project uses the grading rules for hardwood T&G strip flooring, summarised from Australian Standard 2796.

The program is downloadable from the web, either direct to a mobile phone, or via a computer and transferred to the phone using Bluetooth, a USB drive, or a removable memory card.

For more information about this project, and for links to download it, go to the Mobile phone grading rules page.
