Third party report

A third party report is a document signed by a person who knows you and can vouch for your skills and knowledge in a particular area. The sorts of people who are most likely to be able to provide a third party report are:
  • Your current supervisor or manager
  • Previous supervisors or managers
  • Customers or clients
Some third party reports are written in the form of a letter. Others are produced in a template format, and show all of the critical aspects of evidence listed for the unit of competency. This information is provided in a PDF document at the bottom of each of the competencies detailed in this resource.
