Written or verbal questions

Assessors generally ask questions to check a person’s knowledge and understanding of a particular task or skill.

Sometimes an assessor will ask the questions verbally, such as while they are watching you perform a practical task. Or they may put the questions into a written assessment test, which you would need to complete off-the-job by either writing your answers on the test paper or going through the test verbally with your assessor.
