Timber 'Plus' Toolbox - under development

Timber Plus Toolbox

The Timber 'Plus' Toolbox is currently under development, and due for completion at the end of 2010. It will follow on from where the 2009 Timber Toolbox left off, and provide e-learning resources for another nine competencies from the Forest and Forest Products Industry Training Package (FPI05).

The completencies chosen for the Timber 'Plus' Toolbox are a mix of ‘core’ or ‘common technical’ competencies. Most of the units have relevance to a wide range of qualifications at Certificate II and III level. Two competencies are specific to the frame and truss sector.

Timber 'Plus' uses the same layout and presentation style as the 2009 Timber Toolbox, which will allow learners to use both Toolboxes in their training program without having any continuity problems.

The Toolbox covers the nine competencies shown below. You can view the current draft versions of the units completed so far by clicking on the linked unit titles.
