Timber Toolbox

Go to Timber Toolbox	The Timber Toolbox comprises a set of resources for training and assessing timber workers in six competencies from the Forest and Forest Products Industry Training Package (FPI05). These competencies are highly suitable for online or CD-ROM-based delivery due to their emphasis on underpinning knowledge and concepts. They are all ‘core’ or ‘common technical’ competencies, found in all Certificate III qualification in the FPI05. The resource contains a range of interactive learning activities, in addition to tasks for each topic which can be used as assessment exercises.
The Toolbox covers the following six competencies: FPICOR2201A: Work effectively in the forest and forest products industry FPICOR3201A: Implement safety health and environmental policies and procedures FPICOR3202A: Conduct quality and product care procedures FPICOR3204A: Visually assess materials FPICOT3236A: Coordinate stock control procedures FPICOT3204A: Prepare and interpret sketches and drawings
