Chief Warden: Responsibilities following an emergency
When the emergency has passed and the site is declared secure, the Chief Warden should:
supervise the activities required to restore the site to normal operating conditions
organise a debriefing session with the other members of the ECO to analyse the event and the effectiveness of actions taken to control it
complete a written report for senior management on the incident
identify any shortcomings in the emergency control procedures and develop strategies to improve them
implement new strategies where required and ensure that the relevant documents are updated to reflect any changes
ensure that personnel are re-trained accordingly.
