Skills and knowledge you will need to provide evidence for:
Understanding of OHS issues relating to the use of hand-held tools, including PPE requirements and potential dangers of power sources such as electricity and compressed air
Ability to work safely and efficiently while using hand tools (such as hammers, spanners, wrenches and chisels)
Ability to work safely and efficiently while using hand-held power tools (such as nail guns, circular saws and drills)
Ability to carry out basic operator maintenance on hand-held tools, such as sharpening or oiling
